Dangerman back on TV 1 Year ago
I am sure I read somewhere that Dangerman was being shown on TV again (in the UK).

Can anyone confirm this as I can't find it again now! annoying

Well I found the last two episodes tucked away on ITV4 for two Saturdays running, but as I only found them at the last minute I missed some of each (Damn Guide doesn't have ITV4 listings!)

I'd love a whole series to be repeated but it seems they've gone back to The Professionals this week :_b_link__:

I'm sure there are plenty of examples to contradict me here but I have a feeling that tv companies (even the obscure ones) don't like showing black & white tv shows these days.

Sorry I didn't get to raed any announcement about the reshowing of Danger Man so maybe it was just the last episodes made in colour which were being refered to?

I agree, actually I'm hard pressed to think of any examples of B&W programmes on TV at the moment. So many fantastic shows are not being aired

I have seen some of the old B&W episodes of The Saint recently. No problems with B&W for me.

I've had a quick look on the ITV schedules and i can't see any Danger Man episodes. The reason why a lot of companied do not like showing B&W is because of teh screen quality. We all know how brilliant classic B&W tv is but a ot of people do not. 32" wide screem HD tv can show up in perfections on even new programmes so imagine what shows shown in the 50's and early 60's look like. I recently saw a very early episode of Adam Adamant and my god all though the show is very entertaining the quality was terrible, and of course even brilliant companies like those who remaster Dr Who (2entertain) dont sell there prodct back to the broadcasters. DVD is simply your best option for obtaining classics.
